Delete my account
You can delete your Wourou account yourself, from the app or from this site. It is immediate and permanent. A professional or suspended account goes through a request to our team.
From the app
Open Wourou, tap the account icon at the top of the screen, then "Supprimer mon compte" (the app is in French). Confirm with your password.
From this site
Sign in: the deletion page opens, showing what it will do with each of your dogs. Confirm with your password.
What is erased
- Your name, phone number, email address and profile photo.
- Your addresses, notifications, and reviews of places and providers.
- Dogs with no record (no act, prescription, stay, programme, verified identification or attended appointment) that are not handed over to a co-holder, with their photos and tag.
- Your upcoming appointments are cancelled, and the veterinarians notified.
What is kept
- An active or lost dog shared with a co-holder is handed over to them.
- Any other dog that has a record stays in the registry, without your contact details, its tag deactivated: an act signed by a veterinarian is never erased.
- If you placed orders, they are kept for accounting, without your contact details.
Professional accounts
Veterinarian, provider, member of an organisation: deletion is requested from the site's deletion screen, or from the app if you follow a dog there that is not archived. Our team handles it, because a signed act carries its author's identity and an organisation must keep someone in charge. A suspended account cannot delete itself: its deletion is requested from our team, whose contact details will be published on the Contact page.
Can't sign in anymore?
Reset your password from the sign-in page, then delete your account. If you no longer have access to your email address, deletion goes through our team, whose contact details will be published on the Contact page.
